TIFA Clinic at ISSH

TIFA Clinic at ISSH

This month we ran a Spring-term clinic with the International School of the Sacred Heart.

Over the span of the clinic, students first learned fencing safety and basic movement, then went into aspects of bladework, attack, and defense. A favorite of the students was "Queen of the Hill," a competition during the final sessions where students competed to challenge "the Queen", and if successful, dethrone her.

There was lots of movement, lots of laughter, and lots of learning. The atmosphere in the room was exactly what we hoped for: focused, competitive, and a lot of fun.

A huge thank you to the staff and parents at ISSH for making us so welcome, and the students for showing up ready to learn and have fun safely.

More school clinics are already in the works, and we are looking for more schools to partner with for our remaining few openings. If your school would like to host one, reach out.
